Walked past Water St Cafe by chance as were trying to find a dinner place on Friday night and glad we still managed to make a booking in the end! Ambience was nice & we were greeted by our very friendly waitress upon arrival to our table. I ordered the dinner menu which comes with an appetizer, main and a dessert. It was a very good choice and very worth the price. For my appetizer, I had the truffle Capparcio & it was so good that I demolished in seconds. My main dish was the Lobster. I am glad I chose this dish, the meat was very fresh and it was a very decent size lobster too. Ended the meal with a very yummy lemon tart. I’d definitely go back again. Great service, food and ambience!

Love the vintage look and feel of this restaurant. I was here for a company Christmas dinner on the second floor and then several times with friends. In general, the wine selection was sufficient at least for a white wine girl. On one occasion I was here, the server went above and beyond to ensure that my colleague (who needed a gluten free option) was accommodated. I was impressed with their service. On another occasion I was here, I had dinner and had the clam linguini. The sauce was tasty but the pasta was a little undercooked. I wasn’t absolutely impressed by the dish and neither was my companion who also had another pasta dish. Not sure if it was just the chef that evening but we had mixed reviews about the food. It was a pricey evening for food that didn’t totally impress us.

Absolutely amazing place to eat at! We were suggested to go by Tracy, our tour guide of lost souls of Gastown. The host from the restaurant is from Sudbury my hometown. Small world! The lobster was absolutely amazing and the service impeccable!!
